Helion
Geography
The furthest northwest region of Solis, Helion is a land forged in fire. Rivers of molten magma carve through the dark black rocky terrain, while towering active volcanoes loom across the horizon.
Sheer cliffs plummet into chasms of glowing lava below, and the skies are perpetually choked with thick, dark clouds of ash and smoke.
The landscape is both awe-inspiring and treacherous, a world of jagged peaks and crumbling ground, where the land itself seems to seethe with untamed power.
At the outer rims, where extreme cold meets the edge of the region, a staggering contrast of hellish winters meets equally as dangerous magma eruptions.

Wildlife
Helion is home to creatures that have adapted to its harsh, fiery environment. The Ignoros, a hulking, fire-breathing reptilian beast with obsidian scales, roams the magma rivers, feeding off the heat and minerals. The Emberclaw Vulpes, a fox-like creature with glowing, ember-like fur, darts through the volcanic crags, hunting smaller prey and scavenging for any form of sustenance. These creatures have evolved to thrive in the extreme heat, with thick skins and abilities that allow them to manipulate fire and magma for survival.

Plant life
Despite the intense heat, some resilient flora manages to survive in Helion. The Flamoritha crumelis, a hardy, thorny plant with deep crimson leaves, is one such example. Its roots burrow deep into the volcanic rock, drawing nutrients from the rich minerals below. When ground into a powder, its leaves are known to have potent healing properties, particularly for burns and heat-induced ailments, making it a sought-after resource for those brave enough to harvest it.

Notable Site
At the heart of Helion lies the Cinder Spire, a massive volcanic tower that erupts in violent bursts of lava and ash, sending fiery plumes into the sky. It is said to be the center of an ancient ritual site, where mystics once communed with the primal forces of fire. The area around the spire is littered with relics and charred ruins, though few dare approach it due to the constant volcanic activity and the legends of ancient fire spirits said to guard the site.

Towns
The dark and gloomy city of Zaroth is the only settlement that endures in the unforgiving region of Helion. Built into the side of a mountain and carved from the same black rock that surrounds it, Zaroth is a city of shadows and flame. Its streets are dimly lit by the glow of magma flowing beneath the stone foundations, and its inhabitants are hardened survivors, known for their resilience and cunning. Nearby, marauders roam the barren wastelands, preying on anyone brave—or foolish—enough to venture into the wilds unprepared.
